TNN is receiving reports this afternoon that Tracy Berkley, Chief Executive Officer of the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA), has officially resigned from her post.
A press release provided to TNN with a confirmation letter outlining her departure. While the details of the resignation remain under wraps, it follows months of internal unrest at the BTA—including a string of resignations, extended personal leaves, and staff turnover—all of which have raised concerns about the direction and leadership within the organization.
Speculation has been swirling for some time that this outcome was imminent. Insiders described a culture of uncertainty and low morale, with many citing a disconnect between upper management and staff on the ground.

We can confirm that Tracy Berkeley has resigned from her role at the Bermuda Tourism Authority. Ms Berkeley joined the organisation in 2020 and played a key leadership role in navigating the challenges of the pandemic and helping to guide the BTA through the post-pandemic recovery phase.
We are thankful for the contributions she made during her time with the BTA and wish her success in her future endeavours.
The Board of Directors remains committed to fostering a positive and collaborative internal environment, while refocusing the BTA’s core mission on driving tourism growth and promoting Bermuda as a premier travel destination.
