Three men appeared in Magistrates Court this morning facing murder charges.
24-year-old Isaiah Smith of Devonshire Parish, 19-year-old Omari Williams of Warwick Parish, and 25-year-old Jaja DeSilva of Devonshire Parish, were all charged with being concerned together, unlawfully killing Marcus Wilson on August 20th of this year.
Smith and Williams were also charged with being in possession of a blades article namely a knife with a cutting edge in excess of three inches.
All three men were not required to enter a plea to the indictable offences.
The three men where remanded into custody at Westgate Corrections facility by Senior Magistrate Maxanne Anderson and will reappear on October 3rd 2022 for the monthly arraignment session.
Lawyers representing the three accused were Charles Richardson for Omari Williams, as well as Richardson holding for Marc Daniels in his absents for Jaja Desilva, and Archie Warner was representing Isaiah Smith during today’s proceedings.
