The event, which attracted some 200 attendees to Somerset Cricket club was a hit ahead of the classic, which takes place later this week.
“It’s been a great day, there have been a few challenges but there’s always challenges,” said Smith. “Everyone has come out and they’re having fun everyone’s really having fun.”
One of the highlights was a beauty pageant to select two Ms Cup Match, one to represent Somerset and the other St George’s .
As a long time promoter of beauty contest Smith was enamored with the competition.
“The ladies taking part in the pageant was the highlight for me, but that’s my field and it’s always great to see that, ” said Smith. “More and more are competing each year.
“A lot of the same ladies compete each year and it’s really just a lot of fun.
“The Premier and Tinee Furbert being here was great to have them support our seniors.”
The event continues to go from strength to strength and Smith look forward to having another such next year.
