Temporary Closure of Francis Patton School

The Department of Education has advised of the temporary closure of Francis Patton Primary School on Monday, January 15. This closure resulted from an electrical fire yesterday afternoon in the school’s IT cabinet and transformer room.

Power was successfully restored to the school this morning. The school resume as normal operations today, Tuesday, January 16.

Sunday evening (January 14), Francis Patton’s school administration informed staff and parents of Monday’s closure.

The Department of Education extends its gratitude to the school community for their understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. We remain dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.
