 Television Sports Reporter Dies In Florida

Veteran journalist and olympic Sprinter Michael “Mike” Sharpe has passed away in the U.S.

Mr. Sharpe competed in the men’s 100 metre event at the 1976 Summer Olympics.

He was well known as a sports reporter having worked on local radio and television for several years, most recently at the Bermuda Broadcasting Company, Mike started his outstanding broadcast career at Capital Broadcasting Company ZFB in the late 70’s. Sharpe was 65 years old and was an avid fisherman.
