Teenager Urges Peers to Get Vaccinated

An 18-year-old girl attended the mobile vaccination clinic at the National Sports Center yesterday morning to receive her first jab of the Pfizer vaccine.

She wanted to get it to just be on the safe side and because her mother had recently received both doses.

“ I’m feeling nervous, because I don;t really like needles that much,” she said. “Otherwise, I’m feeling good.”

She would encourage her peers to get the vaccine to be on the safe side, especially if they are planning to travel overseas to college within the next few months.

In a few years, she plans to study art at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Georgia after I graduate from the Bermuda College.
