A 17 year old male this morning appeared in Magistrates Court charged with the October 2024 murder of Ethan Arruda.
He was not called upon to enter a plea as this is an indictable charge and must be dealt with in the Supreme Court.
The accused who cannot be identified because he is under the age of 18, was granted bail in the amount of 25 thousand dollars with one surety.
His bail conditions include a curfew from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., he must surrender all travel documents and be fitted with an electronic monitoring device. He is also to report to the Hamilton Police Station three times a week.
The accused will next appear during the July 1st arraignments session.
