Staff and Patrons Test Positive after Mother’s Day Brunch

Management at M.E F. recently confirmed to TNN that staff at two local popular eateries, Cafe 4 and Fourways Inn, contracted the Coronavirus sometime over the last week and that Cafe 4, located in the Washington Mall, is temporarily closed as a result staff shortages.

It is believed these positive cases could have come as a result of Mother’s Day brunch, which throughout Sunday May 8, brought hundreds of patrons to Fourways Inn.

“ We have quarantined whoever needs to be quarantined, but the rest of our workforce is here working,” Fourways Inn and Cafe 4, general manager Andy Detzer said. “ Our staff test daily for the virus, and there is currently only one waiter who contracted the virus.”

Mr. Detzer confirmed that Fourways followed the correct protocol for contact tracing on Sunday and that every party left the pertinent information ( their name, number, email, etc.)
