A energetic, determined Under 11 St. David’s Warriors outfit upset the form book and defied odds, as they won the BFA U11B tournament held over the weekend at the National Sports Centre’s North Field.
The youngsters from the east rose up against a highly favoured PHC Zebras team, stifling their Warwick counterparts in regulation, which ended with the pair level at 3-3.
The Warriors then best held their nerve, while more accurately directing shots at goal during the penalty shoot-out, as they emerged 5-3 victors.
The young men were aiding in their successful championship quest by coaches Milton Jones and Elijah Robinson
