South Road Motorcycle Collision, 8 Year Old Boy Injured Believed Not Serious

Word coming to TNN from police media relations suggesting two people have been taken to hospital after two motorcycles collided in Devonshire.

Around 3:30pm on Saturday 28th January, 2023, police and other first responders were dispatched to a collision along South Road, near to the junction with Kent Avenue, Devonshire, involving two motorcycles.

Details surround the collision are limited, however it is believed that three people were involved. Two adults have been taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital, for treatment of their injuries, which were described as potentially serious. An eight year old child was also reported to injured in the collision, but  believed to have suffered a minor injury.

Traffic diversions are in place at Brighton Hill, Middle Road/Tee Street and Berry Hill/Tee Street, while accident investigators process the scene.
