Yesterday evening, just before 6:00 p.m., concern spread quickly through the Somerset community when eight-year-old Luke-Travis King Faries was reported missing. What began as an ordinary afternoon soon turned into an urgent search as police sounded the alarm and residents mobilized in response.
TNN News understands that, as authorities worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the child’s disappearance, members of the Somerset community immediately came together. Search efforts focused on areas familiar to the young boy, including Sound View Road, Scotts Hill Road, and surrounding neighborhoods where he was known to spend time with friends and family.
As the night got a little colder, hope remained strong. Search parties formed, prayers were lifted, and neighbors—many of them known one another—worked side by side with a shared purpose: bringing Luke-Travis King Faries home safely.
Just after 9:30 last evening, the community received the news they had been waiting for. Luke-Travis King Faries had been located.
