Last evening @Grabawhip, Vault TV, Geminii Photography Bermuda, along with Community Activist, Robyn Swan presented on behalf of the Premier Awards – The Social Justice Influencer Award for 2021 and 2022 to Ms. Chardonnay Paynter.
Ms. Swan was instrumental in promoting Ms. Paynter to the Premier Awards Committee. It was commented “Ms. Paynter is a true community hero, her advocacy will protect Bermudians for generations to come.”
Ms. Paynter is the founder of “Consent Matters” a group that is devoted to raising Bermuda’s awareness of sexual harassment, and other sexual rights for women.
The organization has also heavely advocated and promoted amendments to The Criminal Code Amendment (Non-consensual Sharing of intimate Images) Act 2021.
