Six individuals, ranging in age from 24 to 55, appeared in Magistrate’s Court yesterday to face indictable charges related to drug offenses.
The group, which includes four men and two women, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply on two separate counts, as well as an additional count for Crockwell only of possession with intent to supply.
Jahkeya Spenser and Teko Bean, both 34, Gavin O’Connor, 55, Jahdae Wade, 24, and 33-year-olds Taureem O’Connor and Jalicia Crockwell were charged with the offence when they appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
These charges date back to incidents that occurred in April 2022. None of the defendants were required to enter a plea, as the case will be heard to the Supreme Court for further proceedings.
