Brianna Benevides, from Bermuda and a graduate of Mount Saint Agnes Academy, is set to begin her first year of study in Management at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
Ms. Benevides has been awarded $30,000 per year towards her undergraduate studies and plans to pursue a dual postgraduate degree in Law (Juris Doctor) and Business (MBA) once she has completed her undergraduate degree. In her downtime, she is a passionate netball player, coaches local primary school teams in the sport and has refereed for the Bermuda Netball Association.
“Butterfield has awarded its annual
scholarships to five promising students, including two talented Bermudians, Brianna Benevides and Aaliyah Lee, who will receive a combined $55,000 between them for the upcoming academic year.
These scholarships can be maintained for up to four academic years.
