Singleton Removed From IOC Medical Commission

IslandStats Sports Network reporting earlier this week that Patrick Singleton who represented Bermuda in the Luge and Skeleton events at three Winter Olympics is no longer on the IOC Medical and Scientific Commission.

Singleton who was elected to the World Olympians Association to be on the Commission was replaced.

You would recall, that Bermuda Olympians were frustrated with the self-proclaimed President of the Bermuda Olympians Association Singleton is keeping them in the dark.

Back in 2021, Singleton was out as a WOA Athletes’ Commission Representative, and now he is out of the Medical Commission.

As we reported Singleton attended the third World Olympians Forum.

The Forum aimed to spread best practices, hear from world experts, and workshop how Olympians can more effectively spread the values of the Olympic Movement, the benefits of sport and physical activity, and give back to their communities, but Bermuda’s Olympians still are yet to hear how they can get involved.
