SINGLETON QUITS AS CEO OF ZBM

A changing of the guard at Bermuda Broadcasting Company as company C.E.O. Patrick Singleton has tendered his resignation.

TNN has been reliably informed that today was his last day on the job, with long time ZBM employee Ian Rawlins set to act as interim head of the company.

During Patrick Sungleton’s time at the helm there were several departures from the company.

Among them Veteran journalists Rick Richardson, Darlene Ming and Gary Moreno.

Tari Trott also resigned. Now there is also talk of another soon to be departure from the newsroom.

Two foreign journalists hired during Singleton’s reign, one from the UK another from the US also quit.

Singleton’s time in charge was fraught with issues. At one time there was reportedly a petition among workers to have him removed.

TNN was threatened with legal action for publishing a story about the purported petition, which the Devonshire based broadcasting company refused to comment on.
