Around 9 PM on Friday, August 2 2024, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle collision on Middle Road near the junction with Lighthouse Road, Southampton.
Details are limited at this time, however, it was reported that a man has received potentially serious injuries after crashing his car through an eastbound wall, resulting in the vehicle going over the embankment.
The man has been transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Westbound traffic is being diverted onto lighthouse Road, while eastbound traffic is being diverted onto church Road.
Anyone who may have witnessed this collision is asked to call police on 211.
