Around 12:00pm on Sunday 29th May, police officers on patrol, came across a single vehicle collision on Middle Road, Devonshire in the area of the U.S. Consulate General.
Initial information suggests that a woman driving a private motorcar was travelling in an easterly direction, when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a utility pole.
The woman, who is believed to be the only occupant in the vehicle, was transported to King Edward Memorial hospital via ambulance, for treatment of head and neck injuries.
Traffic is currently being diverted at Montpelier Road and Flora Duffy Hill, while police process the scene.
