The driver of a car hurt when the vehicle struck a utility pole on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Montpelier Road, said to be a 37-year-old Pembroke woman, was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
She was later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and released on police bail, pending further inquiries. Traffic was diverted for approximately two hours while the scene was processed. Any witnesses are once again asked to call Constable Tashun Simons on 211 or e-mail tsimons2@bps.bm.”
