Envy Entertainment will be sponsoring a concert extravaganza at the National Sports Center on Wednesday, July 27, before the first day of the much-anticipated 2022 Cup Match Classic
According to a spokesperson for Envy entertainment, the concert will feature several Jamaican artists, such as Shenseea and Ding Dong, the latter whom currently has billboard hits in
Jamaica and internationally; as well as some Bermudian artists and DJs.
“ This is a top-line show for Bermuda,” the spokesperson said. “ We wanted to bring these artists here because there are people who are now able to travel [here] because we have completely opened up, but there are others who cannot travel to the U.S. or U.K due to affordability, so we are bringing that entertainment to Bermuda.”
The spokesperson hopes that people will come out and share the beginning of theirholiday with Envy Entertainment. Regular tickets start at $100 and VIP tickets are $200. VIP admission includes two drink tickets, a plate of food, an AC bathroom and private parking.
Even though people under 18 are allowed to attend the concert if accompanied by an adult, the VIP area is reserved only for people over age 18. The organizers do not plan to be responsible for underage drinking at the event, doors open 8:30pm – 2:00am.
According to the spokesperson, both an independent security agency and members of the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) will be present at the event to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Tickets can be purchased at Choices Menswear in Bermudiana Arcade or online at bdatix.bm. VIP tickets are only available online.
