Around 3:30 AM on Thursday, December 14 th Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service and police were dispatched to a report of several boats on fire at the Boat-port storage facility on Wellington Slip Road, St. George’s.
Firefighters are working steadily to bring the blaze under control. As a result, a portion of Wellington Slip Road is closed to the public.
Motorist who live in the area are advised to use caution as the road will operate on a two way system.
We are asking that members of public stay away from the area until the fire service deem the area to be safe.
