Police are investigating a serious two vehicle collision involving a motorcar and a motorcycle near the junction of Loyal Hill and North Shore Road in Devonshire.
Details are limited at this time. However, the male motorcycle rider has been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment for what are described as serious head injuries.
The female motorcar driver was reportedly uninjured.
North Shore Road is currently closed off between Northridge Crescent and Loyal Hill, while the scene of the collision is being processed.
As a result, eastbound traffic is being diverted onto the railway trial via Northridge Crescent.
Westbound traffic is being diverted onto the railway trail at Loyal Hill. Motorists are advised to exercise caution at these diversion points.
