Around 4:15pm on Thursday 18th August, 2022, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a serious two vehicle collision involving a private motor car and a motorcycle.
Details are limited at this time, however initial enquiries suggest that both vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke. It was reported that the male driver of the motorcar attempted to negotiate a right hand turn onto Blackwatch Pass when the collision occurred.
The male motorcycle rider has been transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital, where he is presently being treated for a suspected head injury. The driver of the motor was not reported to be injured.
The road has been closed and traffic diversions are in place at Cedar Avenue and Dutton Avenue while police process the scene. However the roads are expected to reopen around 6:15pm.
Police are appealing or anyone who may have been in the area of Marsh Folly Road and Blackwatch Pass around the time of the collision or anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Acting Sgt. Jason Savoury jsavoury@bps.bm<mailto:jsavour
