‘The Give Back’ organisation will be presenting early Christmas presents to those that venture to Southampton Rangers Sport Club today (Saturday, December 17) as they put on a toy give away for persons of all ages.
Starting at 2 pm and going on until Santa’s sleigh is empty, the charity, along with the club, welcome those in need to come by and receive treasures to reflect the holiday season.
“It’s all abut us and the club sharing our love for the community,” said MaKinday Johanssen, of The Give Back. “We want the kids to feel a part of the season and no one to be left out.
“We have some hampers filled with goods that we’ll be giving out to those in need, as well as to the area rest homes as well.
“It’s just about us keeping the positive vibe going in the community, keeping everybody together.
“There are people who have lost somebody through the year and Christmas can be a touchy time. We don’t want anybody to feel unloved or that they’re alone and this is a way of us letting them know that we care for them.”
