“Around 9:35am on Monday 14th February, 2022, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a two vehicle collision on Church Street, involving a private motorcar and and a motorcycle.
Initial reports suggest that a motorcycle was traveling north on Court Street and a car traveling east on Church Street, when the two vehicles collided.
The 38yr-old female motorcycle rider was taken to KEMH via ambulance with suspected head injuries.
The 18yr-old female driver of the car, was not reported to be injured.
While police process the scene, traffic is being diverted at the following junctions.
Court St/Reid St.
Court St/ Victoria St
Parliament St/Church St
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision, to contact PC Savoury
