ROAD CLOSURE & LANE CLOSURE MIDDLE ROAD, EAST OF BURNT HOUSE HILL, WARWICK

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that Middle Road east of Burnt House Hill the road widening project will commence.

Phase I entails taking down the rock cliff to allow for a new wall & sidewalk installation. This rock cliff removal will require a road closure for the weekend of Friday December 10th, 2021 to Sunday December 12th, 2021. The following week a one lane closure will be instated.

The road closure will take place Friday December 10th, 2021 at 6:30pm and reopen on Monday, December 13th, 2021 at 7am. Thereafter a one lane closure will commence until Friday December 17th, 2021.

Working hours will be from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm daily.

Traffic controls will be under direction of Island Constructionrepresentatives and will be managed through traffic control signals & signage.

The motoring public traveling west Via Middle Road, is advised to seek alternative routes via Tamarind Vale to Harbour Road and to Burnt House Hill, to avoid this trench work sections. The motoring public traveling east is advised to seek alternative routes via Burnt House Hill to Harbour Roadto avoid this trench work section. Various detour routes signage will be placed.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
