Around 8:15am Tuesday, 8th July 2025, first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision in the North Shore Road, Jennings Road, Smith’s parish area.
Details remain limited at this time. However, it is believed that a car and a pedal cycle were involved.
The pedal cyclist, who apparently sustained head and leg injuries, has been taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Traffic flow in the North Shore Road, Jennings Road, Smith’s parish area returned to normal around 10:15am.
A medical update on the injured individual is anticipated in due course.
Any witnesses are encouraged to call 211.
This is one of three collisions that have occurred in the last 45 minutes.
The other two were reported to be in the Middle Road, Lighthouse Road, Southampton area and the Store Hill, North Shore Road, Smith’s parish area.
Motorists are reminded to ride and drive responsibly, with care for other road users.
Inquiries are ongoing regarding this collision and any witnesses are once again encouraged to call 211. A further update will be provided once more information is available.
