Renee Ming to challenge Walter Roban for deputy leader in upcoming delegates conference

Today former National Security Minister Renee Ming submitted her letter of intention in order to challenge for deputy leader of the Progressive Labor Party ( PLP ). Details listed below.

“Good afternoon, Caucus colleagues,

I write to advise you that I have written to the Party Leader and made him aware of my intention to run for the position of Deputy Leader of the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party at the upcoming Annual General Conference.

In addition, I have sent correspondence to the Secretary-General per our constitution, advising her of my intention.

I asked that all Branch chairpersons, members, parliamentarians and delegates be made aware of such as I hope to meet with each of them in the next few weeks.
