It’s been brought to the Government’s attention that there is a phishing email circulating purporting to be from the Accountant General’s Department. The fake email contains a malware attachment that is dangerous to computer systems if opened.
Again, the email is false and should not be opened under any circumstances. If individuals have any concerns as to whether an email may be fraudulent, they should contact the Bermuda Police Service.
The public is reminded to please only rely on official information and advisories from the Government of Bermuda’s official communication’s section, the Department of Communications.
