The 59th Annual Primary School Art Exhibition is now on display at the Bermuda Society of Arts.
The art exhibition, a unique initiative by the Department of Education, provides a platform for students from public and private to showcase their artwork.
The Primary Art Exhibition is a testament to the diversity of our educational community, featuring artwork from 17 public primary schools, as well as Warwick Academy, Bermuda High School, Saltus Grammar School, Somersfield Academy, Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy, and Clara Mohammed School.
The Minister of Education, the Hon. Diallo Rabain, opened the exhibit last week. Minister Rabain said, “Our primary school students have poured their hearts and creativity to reflect this year’s theme, Stepping Forward: No Limitations. This event not only celebrates the artistic achievements of our students but also fosters a sense of community by engaging everyone in appreciating and supporting young talent. I extend a special thank you to the dedicated teachers for their guidance and commitment to inspiring and motivating students.”
