Premier the Hon. David Burt welcomed Anglican Church leaders to the Cabinet Office during a courtesy visit ahead of the 400th Anniversary Celebration and Rededication of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Warwick.
The delegation included His Grace, the Most Reverend Philip S. Wright, Archbishop of the Province of the West Indies and Bishop of Belize, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Carla Suite Wright; The Right Reverend Nicholas Dill, the 12th Anglican Bishop of Bermuda and Diocesan Bishop of the Anglican Church of Bermuda; and The Reverend Carl Williams, Priest-in-Charge of St. Mary’s Anglican Church and the first Black priest to serve the parish.
The meeting took place in advance of the rededication service scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026, marking the church’s 400th anniversary.
