Police set the record straight on car tint confusion

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) wishes to correct a recent statement which indicated that with the introduction the “Garages Licensing Act 2022”,  the penalty for illegal tint on motor vehicle also increased from $50 per window, to $500 per window.

The increased fine for the offence was in fact introduced with the Traffic Offences (Penalties) Amendment Act 2011.
