At approximately 3:45pm on Sunday, June 28, 2026, police along with other first responders were dispatched to a marine incident involving two boat in Hamilton Harbour, near Lower ferry on Harbour Road, Paget.
The occupants of one of the vessels involved sustained serious injuries and have been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The roadway is currently blocked in the area of this incident as emergency services render assistance from the land side.
Traffic diversions are currently in place with westbound traffic on Harbour Road diverted at the junction of Lovers’ Lane and Harbour Road onto Middle Road. Eastbound traffic is being diverted from Harbour Road along Chapel Road and onto Middle Road.
Please approach these diversion points with caution and follow the instructions of officers assisting with traffic flow.
