Police Report Four Vehicle Collision in Hamilton Parish

Police Update:  “Traffic flow returned to normal in the North Shore Road, Somers Hill Road Hamilton parish area around 10:20am Wednesday.

The rider injured in the collision, believed to be a 72-year-old Hamilton parish man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. An update on his medical condition is anticipated in due course.

Once again, any witnesses are encouraged to call 211.”

“Around 8:05am Wednesday, 10th April 2024, a collision occurred on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, near Somers Hill Road.

Details are limited at this time.

However, initial information indicates that the collision involved three cars and a motorcycle.

So far, one person is understood to have sustained head injuries.

Traffic flow at the collision site has been reduced to one lane, while the scene is processed.

Morning commuters travelling in that area should expect delays and are advised to take alternate routes, if possible.

An update will be provided when more information is available.
