Police Negotiation Successful In Emergency Mental Health Dilemma

Earlier today the Bermuda Police Service successfully aborted an active mental health emergency crisis in Pembroke Parish location.

Police negotiators at the scene with the person in question, safely resolve the situation.

It is believed members of the public had become aware of what is happening.

Police had issued an appeal to members of the public to stay their distance and  do not do anything to exacerbate the situation.

Despite disturbing pictures circulating on social media the BPS had asked for the general public to refrain from recording images and circulating on social media or sharing with others.

The atmosphere had become an extremely sensitive matter and the BPS thanks members of the public for their cooperation and understanding.

The BPS had concluded with a statement confirming the mental health emergency crisis at a Pembroke Parish location has concluded without incident. The individual involved is unharmed and is being medically assessed.
