Police Issue Public Warning of Unusable Cellphone Sales

The Bermuda Police Service has received complaints surrounding the sale of cellphones on the island, which are unable to be activated with local carriers.

We are appealing to anyone, who may have recently purchased a cellphone, in particular, Apple devices and have not been able to activate the device, due to it being blocked by a U.S. cellphone carrier, to contact Sgt.
