Police investigation into suspected hit and run collision

At approximately 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 14th, 2023, police received a 911 report of an unresponsive person lying in the roadway, just west of the junction of North Shore Road and Trinity Church Road, Hamilton Parish.

Upon arrival officers found the person, a thirty year old male, remained unresponsive. He bore head and facial injuries and was having difficulty breathing.

He was transported to hospital by ambulance.

It is believed the male may have been the victim of a hit and run collision.
