POLICE INVESTIGATION COMMENCE INTO TENNIS STADIUM FIREARMS INCIDENT

An investigation has commenced into an incident which took place in the area of the W.E.R. Joel Tennis Stadium on Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke, between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 4th, 2022.

Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may be able to identify the two persons featured in the photograph or, the motorcycle they were traveling on.

Earlier this week TNN reported about a firearm incident at W.E.R. Joel Tennis Stadium on Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke, between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 4th, 2022.

It is asserted that two individuals rode into the area of the parking lot, while suspiciously clad with dark helmet visors, gloves and plastic bags covering their shoes and proceeded to approach an individual, who was getting into a car.

According a female eyewitness, the pair produced what appeared to be a firearm, before assaulting and/or robbing the person.

The victim was then seen to flee towards Bernard’s Park, where local sports club North Village utilises for events, while the two individuals made good their escape.
