“Around 12:10 a.m. on Sunday 18th April, 2022, police responded to a report of a stabbing incident which occurred at Woody’s Bar and Restaurant, Sandys Parish.
Officers identified and secured a crime scene at that location.
Acting on information provided, officers attended a nearby residence where they spoke with the thirty-one-year old male victim, who had sustained a stab wound to his right arm.
He was transported via ambulance to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment to his injuries, which were described as non-life-threatening.
Inquiries into this incident remain ongoing.
There were several people at Woody’s Bar and Restaurant when the incident occurred.
Police are asking that anyone with any information regarding this matter, to please call 211, or the main police number, 295-0011.”
