Around 8:30pm today, Monday 21st June, 2021, Police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a three vehicle road traffic collision, which occurred on Somerset Road Sandys, near the entrance to Scaur Hill Fort Park.
Early information suggests an auxiliary cycle traveling in a westerly direction was negotiating a series of bends, before colliding with two motorcars traveling in the opposite direction.
The male rider was conveyed to KEMH for treatment of suspected head injuries.
There were no reports of anyone else injured.
Forensic officers and traffic accident investigators are currently processing the scene.
Traffic is being diverted west at Lantana entrance onto the Railway Trail. All eastbound traffic is being diverted through Scaur Hill Fort Park.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision, in particular the female driver of a black motorcar traveling west at the time of the collision, to call PC 2542 Simpson on 247-1704 or e-mail wsimpson@bps.bm
