Shortly before 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, 13th February, 2022, police and EMTs attended a reported assault at the Ambiance Lounge on Angle Street in Pembroke.
Upon arrival it was determined the male victim sustained a non-life-threatening laceration to the forehead. He declined to be taken to hospital but was attended to by EMT’s, at the scene.
The suspect, a 31 year old black male, left the scene prior to police arrival but was subsequently located at a Smiths Parish residence and arrested.
TNN understands the suspect left the scene in a white car that was involved in a crash and was later found abandoned in Smiths Parish.
TNN was also informed officers were seen in Hazmat suits near the area where the car was recovered. It is believed a quantity of illegal drugs was found near the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing.
