Around 10:20 this morning, police received reports that a truck had overturned near the junction of Middle Road and Lighthouse Road, Southampton.
Initial information suggested the male driver was trapped inside the vehicle.
He was extracted and taken to KEMH for treatment of his injuries which are not believed life-threatening.
Traffic was restricted to one lane for approximately two hours while efforts were made to have the vehicle removed.
The roadway is now once again open to regular traffic flow.
