Police Identify Industrial Accident Victim

The Bermuda Police Service, (BPS), can now confirm the identity of the male Portuguese National who was injured in an industrial accident which occurred last week, as 42-year-old Nelson Macedo.

Mr. Macedo was reportedly struck by a steel-beam shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10th, while he worked at a construction site, in St George

He was transported via ambulance to Hospital for treatment for his injuries. Unfortunately, he passed away a short time later.

An autopsy is anticipated in due course.
