Police encourage public to delete social media messages circulating

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) is aware of a number of social media posts making allegations in relation to an ongoing police investigation, involving an unresponsive female found near Warwick playground.

The BPS is requesting that should you receive these messages or posts, you do not forward them on and instead, delete them from your device.

This social media activity could hamper the ongoing investigation, as well as negatively impact any possible future prosecution.

Also of concern is the risk to the safety and wellbeing of persons identified.

Please allow us to complete our investigations and do not intervene against any persons identified in those posts. Doing so, could result in your arrest and or prosecution.
