TNN understands that large quantity of drugs believed to be cannabis were confiscated today, during raids carried out by the police at two residences in and around the area of Devonshire and Smith’s Parish.
As a result of the planned assault on the properties and consequent discovies, several suspects were arrested and taken into police custody for questioning and potential processing.
Police later confirmed the report in the release of the following statement: “The Bermuda Police can confirm that a quantity of suspected controlled drugs was seized and a number of individuals taken into custody following an exercise in the Smiths Parish area earlier today.
“This remains an ongoing matter. ”
