Around 8:24 AM on Friday, November 22, 2024, police and Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS), were dispatched to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcar, near the junction of Middle Road and Cobbs Hill, Paget.
The motorcar was reportedly travelling in an easterly direction on Middle Road, when upon reaching the junction with Cobbs Hill, the driver initiated a right hand turn and struck a nearby kerb.
The vehicle overturned and landed on the driver’s side leaving the driver trapped inside.
Emergency services assisted in ensuring the driver was safely removed from the vehicle and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver complained of back pain but was able to walk. She also suffered minor abrasions to her hands.
