Police confirm a TNN report posted earlier today of the arrest of a person of interest in connection with the murder investigation of Honnee Smith.
A male suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of Honee Smith.
The suspect remains in police custody at this time.
The investigating team is appealing for anyone familiar with Ms. Smith and who can assist in tracing her movements from Monday, May 5 until around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday May 8, 2025, to contact Detective Inspector Leroy Mathurin on 717-2040 or, via e-mail at, lmathurin@bps.bm
