Police Appeal For Witnesses In Mount Hill Shooting

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS), continues to make enquiries into the shooting incident that occurred about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday the 29th December, 2021, outside of a residence on Mount Hill Road, Pembroke. The investigation is progressing and several lines of enquiry are being pursued.

The B.P.S. is making a renewed appeal for witnesses to this shooting to make contact with the Senior Investigating Officer, Acting Detective Inspector Jason Smith. In particular, ADI Smith is appealing for area residents who have CCTV Cameras as well as anyone who may have heard or seen a bike, moments before the shooting with two persons, dressed in dark clothing riding along Mount Hill Road, to please get in contact with him

This appeal is also for information on a fight that occurred outside the victim’s residence on Boxing Day between 10:30 and 11:00a.m. Any witnesses to this fight and or persons with information on who was involved in the fight, are critical to this investigation.

The victim of last night’s shooting, is in stable condition at KEMH.
