The 60th Annual Founder’s Day and Drum Major Awards will be held at the Cedarbridge Academy cafeteria on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
We welcome and encourage all Party members and supporters to attend as we celebrate our Founders and present Drum Major Awards.
The speaker for this year’s event will be Miss Ariana Caines. Ariana was born in Bermuda to parents Tina Evans and Glenn Caines, and is the granddaughter of the late Dame Lois Browne-Evans.
A proud Berkeleyite, Ariana also attended Bermuda College, and later earned a First Class law degree from Buckingham University. Upon completing her Bar Professional Training Course, Ariana was called to the Bar of England and Wales, 65 years after her Grandmother.
Now a member of the Bermuda Bar, she is a practicing barrister at Conyers, as well as an accomplished author.
Ariana is passionate about Bermuda’s youth, and currently supports the development of the National Youth Policy as Chairperson. This year’s attendees can also look forward to being entertained by special local talent provided by Shine Hayward, Cindy Smith, and One Body in Christ For God’s Purpose.
