The case has been sent to the Supreme Court for monthly arraignment on September 2nd, where the matter will proceed. Tyrell has been remanded to Westgate Correctional Facility in the interim.

The charges stem from the tragic events of May 1st, when four armed gunmen stormed Legends Bar and opened fire on patrons. The brazen attack resulted in the deaths of two persons and left three others injured. The assailants fled the scene on motorcycles, which were later discovered abandoned in the Dockyard area.

Tyrell had been on the run for nearly nine weeks following the incident. Authorities believe he sustained a gunshot wound to his leg—suspected to be self-inflicted—during the course of the crime. He was finally apprehended earlier this month after an intensive island-wide manhunt.

Police have confirmed that two additional suspects are at present on police bail as the investigation continues.
